I have been interested in birds since my early childhood, mainly inspired by my brother Tim, who from an early age took the whole family with him to go bird watching.

In my teenage years I slowly became interested in bird photography. Being one with nature and getting away from all your thoughts while lying in the mud to get the right point of view of that one bird. Getting dirty is just part of the hobby.

In terms of equipment, I started with Olympus and after a break of a few years due to time for family and work, I switched to Sony. Since then my passion has only grown.
